Many people find moving to be stressful to begin with, let alone during a global pandemic. However, we are taking the coronavirus situation very seriously and have implemented many policies to put your mind at ease and allow your move to continue as planned.
We here at Fleet53 are highly committed to everyone’s health and safety during these unprecedented times. We are doing everything we can to make sure our employee teams and customers stay healthy while doing our part to “flatten the curve” of covid-19 infections. We are following all of the recommended guidelines from the WHO and the CDC. Additionally, we are also following state and federal mandates very carefully and making sure we are acting in accordance with those.
All employees who can work from home are doing so. On-the-ground employees like drivers and moving crews are being instructed to wash hands frequently, wear a face-covering whenever possible, avoid touching their faces, and to not come to work if they or someone in their household is sick. Additionally, we are taking extra steps to clean and fully sanitize trucks and moving equipment in between moves with anti-bacterial and anti-viral products.
Other steps we are taking include:
– Completing some in-person services via video chat, like consultations and pre-move surveys
– Asking our customers to choose a different moving date if they or someone in their home is feeling sick
– Offering more flexibility to meet your moving needs
– Restricting access to warehouse & other in-person duties to essential staff only
We are still here for you during this trying time. We are doing everything we can on our end to keep moves on schedule, but we understand that the situation is evolving by the day and sometimes even by the hour. That’s why we are offering more flexibility if your plans change. We will still be providing our moving services as long as we are able to do so safely. Please keep checking our website for the latest updates on the situation. As always, you can reach out to us with any questions about your move.
Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected by the coronavirus, and we thank our clients and employees for sticking with us during this crisis.
